We represent a private equity company, Riverstone, and certain of its portfolio companies in defense of a lawsuit arising out of a gas purchase agreement. Plaintiff Southwest Energy has asserted claims alleging that the firm’s clients tortiously interfered with a Southwest’s gas supply contract in order to win the business for Trailstone. Discovery is ongoing and the case is currently set for trial in May 2017.
