Jeremy Doyle
Local Litigation Star (Texas)
“Jeremy Doyle led a team that represented a private equity company, Riverstone, and certain of its portfolio companies in defense of a lawsuit arising out of a gas purchase agreement. The plaintiff asserted claims alleging that the firm’s clients tortiously interfered with the plaintiff’s gas supply contract in order to win the business for another affiliate. The firm filed several summary judgment motions seeking dismissal of the claims and a ruling that the plaintiff had no recoverable damages under the terms of the contract at issue. The case settled for a confidential amount while those motions were pending.”
