Reynolds Frizzell LLP successfully prevailed on three motions for summary judgment in a lawsuit involving a real-estate dispute. The plaintiff, Sudhoff Properties of Houston, LLC (“SPH”), filed a breach of contract claim against our client based on a demand for indemnity. Attorneys Chris Hogan and Will Langley filed an answer, and a later counterclaim for breach of contract, seeking unpaid commissions for a real-estate transaction.
After discovery, SPH filed two motions for summary judgment, asking the court to dismiss our client’s claims. Chris Hogan and Will Langley filed a summary judgment seeking a dismissal of SPH’s claims in the case. After multiple hearings and extensive oral argument, the trial court denied both of SPH’s motions and granted our client’s motion.
